FAQ

Everything you need to feel confident.

Still have questions? Get in touch or email practitioner@nu-vyn.com.

Do you accept insurance?

No. Nuvyn is a cash-based practice. This allows us to provide more comprehensive, personalized care without the constraints of insurance networks. We can provide documentation you may submit to your insurer for potential out-of-network reimbursement, though this is not guaranteed.

Am I guaranteed to receive a prescription?

No. All treatment is provided at the discretion of a licensed clinician, following a clinical evaluation, and only when medically appropriate. Completing the eligibility review does not guarantee treatment or a specific prescription.

What is the free eligibility review?

A clinician-reviewed intake of your health history and goals, at no cost and with no commitment. If you’re a good fit, we’ll walk you through next steps. If not, we’ll point you in the right direction.

Are compounded medications FDA-approved?

Compounded medications, including certain peptides, are not FDA-approved and have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality. They are prepared by licensed U.S. pharmacies in accordance with applicable state and federal guidelines, based on your clinician’s prescription.

How quickly will I receive my medication?

Once your order is placed with the pharmacy, most medications arrive within 3–5 business days. You’ll receive tracking information as soon as your order ships.

Do I need to redo labs if I have recent bloodwork?

Not necessarily. If you’ve recently completed lab work, you can share those results during your consultation. No repeat is required if they’re current and comprehensive.

Is Nuvyn available outside of Texas?

Yes. While Nuvyn is headquartered in Texas, our physician is licensed in 30+ states, so we can serve patients across much of the country. Complete the free eligibility review to confirm availability in your state.
